2022 Holiday Skate

The St. Louis Youth Hockey Foundation announced its’ Holiday Skate Fundraiser to be held on December 23rd at Centene Community Ice Center from 8 to 11 PM.

This annual Holiday event helps raise funds to support grants, also called merit-based scholarships, that have been created to help young players and their families who face financial difficulties in continuing to play hockey. “Hockey is an expensive team sport and our foundation’s mission is to help those who might have stop playing, due to financial constraints” said Kristin Heffington, President of the organization.

This year alone we have awarded 14 grants to young players to help keep them on the ice playing the game they love.  This Holiday Skate event allows us to raise funds and bring together young players and their families from throughout St. Louis for a fun evening of hockey.”  Hockey players can skate with their friends, families, and neighbors in three games designed to engage all ages, skills, and teams.

The cost to attend the event is $60.

The ice time for the event was donated by the St. Louis AAA Blues and the Centene Community Ice Center. Motivation Technologies is also a sponsor.
